An “Outstanding” Provider
(Ofsted, June 2016)
Stutton Playgroup’s highly qualified staff provide outstanding, top quality care and education for children aged two to five years, in accordance with the government’s Early Years Foundation Stage.
The setting is situated in the picturesque village of Stutton, just outside Tadcaster, in North Yorkshire. Based in the village hall, we have clean, modern facilities with plenty of space for the children to play and learn in a safe environnment, both indoors and outdoors.
Created in 1971, we are a non-profitable charity with a voluntary management committee, and continue to develop professionally in order to meet the ever changing needs of the early years sector.
We offer government funded places for children the term after their third birthday until they reach statutory school age. Funding is available for two year old children subject to meeting certain criteria. Parents would need to contact the Families Information Service on 0845 601 1630 to check eligibility.
We offer full or part day care, five days a week during term time. Parents have the flexibility of choosing sessions to suit their needs and the needs of their children.
Providing support to children with special educational needs and working closely with multi-agencies, we ensure that the individual needs of all children and their families are met.
