Welcome to Stutton Playgroup

An Outstanding Provider (Ofsted, June 2016)
Stutton Playgroup’s highly qualified staff provide quality care and education for children aged two to five years, in accordance with the government’s Early Years Foundation Stage.
Created in 1971, Stutton Playgroup began as a small group based in Stutton Village Hall where we were able to meet the needs of local children.

We are now a thriving community based in Tadcaster, a non-profitable charity with a voluntary management committee, and also a member of the Preschool Learning Alliance.

We continue to develop professionally in order to meet the ever changing needs of the early years sector, and enable us to support our children in the best way possible for them to learn and have fun.
